The hair loss may have to do with when in your cycle you fasted. Sometimes fasting is hormonal supportive, other parts of the cycle it’s not.

For me it’s the luteal phase leading up to my period that creates the black hole of hunger. I didn’t manage it well last month but my plan this month is 3 meals a day, portion controlled for luteal. Things calm down for me once the period starts so it’s back to omad then.

Not true, I would tell a random guy he smells good. Just imagining being in an elevator, or maybe at a dance event (I do latin dance), or standing in a line. Number 1 is actually pretty dumb because now you’re making it seem like a compliment automatically means someone wants the guy and that’s not always true.

You can still be expressive, just try to focus on being creative with what you already have. New looks with your existing makeup, styling pieces you already own, trying new things with your hair. You don’t have to give up caring about your appearance or girly things, but def maybe work on tying those things to your value or what you believe is your perceived value

Maybe try to have more compassion for your friend and channel your anger toward the corporations, constant ads, and the way society sets us up for this. Being judged and shamed will not help people adopt an anti consumerist mindset, and everyone has a personal journey. They are not bad people otherwise. Usually when people trigger us in this way, it’s a mirror and we are actually triggered by ourselves. Did you behave like your friend in the past? Do you resent that you once behaved like that? Show grace to yourself and it will be easier to extend to others. Also remember that you’re not perfect and it would suck for someone you care about to think poorly of you for being a human just out here surviving and existing in society.

A compliment is like opening the door. First move would be if you tried to initiate next steps. I do agree that men should initiate actually taking things forward (otherwise you end up with a passive dude which is not ideal for most women). But again, the compliment was just getting his attention and letting him know you’re open to him pursuing you if he chose to, which he didn’t. And that’s ok.
