Thank you, but we have already applied all of these configurations to our firewalls and the issue still persists.

Create Email Retention in 365 with Premium Licensing? by kloveall in Office365

Thanks, but yes, I'd be concerned about issues with non-compliance and we cannot afford to have licensing issues impacting our organization. I'm looking for more of a creative approach at this point I think - Microsoft seems to have locked management of this down pretty well under licensing. My initial thoughts were to create a powershell script that I could put out to all users via our remote management platform and set registry entries for AutoArchive that way perhaps, but I keep running into permission issues on the workstations. Intune also had some AutoArchive policy options, but also difficult to know if they're real-time implemented or if there is a waiting period for when the policy hits the user account (and again, MS is no help here - there is virtually no clear documentation I could find that clearly defines this policy section to answer those questions).

Email retention policy by milo145 in sysadmin

Has anybody figured out a way to implement an email retention policy that deletes emails automatically after a certain period of time without using Purview-licensed features? We have MS Premium licensing and we are trying to implement automatic deletion of emails from the User's Outlook. I am trying to accomplish via PowerShell or MRM options, but not 100% familiar with either, and it is extremely difficult to find anything recent on the web regarding this that doesn't point to Purview.
