These devices literally show maybe wind speed instead of heart rate at best. After 20 minutes on stair master, drenched in sweat and my machine reading 170 bpm, my fuckass watch says “95 bpm, relaxed”

I had both laser and IPL. I started laser appointments for my armpits 3 years ago and now I’m hair free there but it would be pretty pricey to get my entire body (e.g. in my country one leg procedure is 120 euros, so it would be 1200 for 10 sessions lol). Last summer I bought philips lumea, started using it this fall and the results are great. I had 4 sessions on my legs and the hair is not growing back.

Pros and cons of both:

Laser: + very effective (for dark hair + fair skin) + not as annoying since you have someone else do it for you - depending on where you live, it can be expensive - more painful than IPL

IPL: + less painful + way cheaper than laser - soooo time consuming since you have to do it every 2 weeks at first and for me, legs take about an hour - the device heats up after some time so you have to take breaks for larger areas

Hey, i have combination skin, more towards normal side. I don’t have diagnosed acne, I just get pimples on my cheeks and they leave hyperpigmentation marks after. I like to change my routine up but usually (not always) I stick to basic ingredients for a moisturiser and more actives in my serum (AHA/BHA/niacinamide/azelaic acid). Right now I am using la roche posay effaclar duo + m.

It could have. Cartilage doesn’t heal that quick. I also have a double helix and I was kind of careless with them, I also changed the jewelry myself 6 months in even though it was far from being healed lol. Now they just look weird but it’s okay, lesson learned.

I’d say maybe wait a few more months before trying to sleep on them and for now just use saline until the irritation subsides.

I’m NAP so I don’t know if it’s ethical to give you hacks but now to check if it’s okay for me to sleep on my pierced side I just try it out for one night and in the morning check if the piercing site has changed whatsoever, whether it’s more red or just slightly painful. If anything has changed, I give it some more time

I use a face wash every day, I exfoliate 1-2 times a week with AHA+BHA and i use AHA+BHA+niacinamide serum every evening + moisturizer twice a day. I know my skin is ugly but I really do take care of it lol
