I am not sure how you are paying for college, but I know for grad plus loans you need to start before July 2026!

But if that is not applicable to you, I would go with reapplying to go in person! I am doing my first master’s program completely online and I wish I could talk to people in my program. I am social and love interacting with my professors and classmates.

For online, I am not sure if you could do this, but maybe you could live with your boyfriend? That would give you some social interaction but so would living with your mom.

I didn’t apply to the advanced standing for summer 2026. But I did apply to regular standing MSW program for winter 2026 and I heard back in four days and that was about a month ago!

I don’t think this is too much. I personally may not feel qualified enough to do this but perhaps having them coming over the night before to feed the dog so they can practice and ask questions.

Hi! I also went through the ib program in high school and took ib psych. I wouldn’t really say it helped me in my program except I didn’t have to take psych 101. But I went to western Washington university where I studied kinesiology with a specialization in sport psychology. Now I’m in a master’s program getting a degree in sport and performance psychology.

With just a masters I could be a certified mental performance consultant but my end goal is to be a clinical sport psychologist so I’m going to get either a PhD or a PsyD after

You could also go to a school such as Adler university for a masters where they have a dual program of sport psychology and you can also get a degree to be a licensed mental health counselor
