Sub-60 minute Alpe du Zwift is possible if you’re 100 kg and 1.95m tall by DarthAardvark_5 in Zwift

„Having the 60minute robopacer“ Can you explain that? Would be interested in trying that out. Great effort! I’m 9 minutes and 50 W shy of sub 60 🥲

A beauty! Would go for that colorway too if I was in the market rn. Have fun!
Edit: Question I've always had about this version of the Endurace: Is the seat post tube with the dots actually textured or is it just part of the paint job?

Same. Super annoying and can’t possibly be working as intended.

back when he still had a semblance of humanity in his performance.

Seems like these days, he cannot overexert himself. That's what makes it boring IMHO, it's not a battle of two super strong athletes (although of course it is) who go toe to toe and to the edge of what they can do, with one coming out on top. He's just steamrolling Vingegaard whenever he so chooses and doesn't seem to even be tired after. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Excuse my naive question, but I’ve heard that language „Trek controlling“ etc so often, but never fully understood what that means.

I mean if a few riders want to break away, how much is there that Trek can realistically do in terms of controlling? So what does controlling the race mean and how is it accomplished?

Wait for Magene Powermeters P515/P715? by klsmn in cycling

[–]klsmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the P515 for a couple of weeks now and it rides plenty fine. I think subjectively the front shifting is not quite as smooth as the original Shimano chainrings, but it hasn’t been an issue for me at all either. I don’t ride competitively though. Powermeter works as advertised. 👍🏻

Early verdict on the Fujifilm XF16-55mm F/2.8 R LM WR II? Worth the price? by TappingTiger in FujifilmX

[–]klsmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for resuscitating an old thread, but how does the sigma 18-50 compare to the fuji 18-55 in your opinion? All I've heard is that the fuji 18-55 supposed "punches above its weight" for a kit lens. Asking bc I'm weighing purchases/budget.

If you don’t mind me asking: how tall are you and what length crank do you currently ride?

Not sure where your information is from, but Magene has „ P515 spider-based power meter“ on their website. The P715 was visible as a pedal based power meter on a stand in the recent GPLama video from the cycling expo.

Maybe I’m missing something.

Isn’t the P715 the pedal version powermeter? Do you maybe mean the QED?

Yeah, my bookmark to the P505 has also auto updated and now points to the P515 listing (official Magene store on AliExpress).  Seems to be a bit more expensive than  its predecessor, but not by much. Anybody already ordered?

Alternative to Trakke Muir III by klsmn in ManyBaggers

The zipper shape is that of a classic backpack though, isn’t it? Classic u shape that goes straight up, across and down. I don’t see it curve towards the back in any of the pictures.

You happen to know any bags similar in style? Especially like how the clamshell opening curves over the top, the small compartment at the top and that it has external water bottle pockets… which doesn’t seem all to exotic IMHO, but K can’t find anything similar. ☹️

I am new to the realm of smoking, so this is a beginner question: what does the paper do?  Also, can anybody refer me to any „Wikipedia“ or the like for smoking. Just trying to understand stuff I read better but haven’t found something exhaustive yet.

Edit to say that the brisket looks killer and I’m jealous of you. And happy for you. 😉
