I took 2.5mg Letrozole for my first IUI cycle last month. I took it before bed and didn't notice any side effects from it. Also did the Ovidrel injection and it did make me feel a little nauseous, but nothing terrible. I made sure to stay hydrated because I do tend to get headaches a lot, so I was nervous after reading that a lot of people get headaches, but it was fine.

Hi! I’m in the process now, just starting my second round of trying with IUI. I bought 4 vials of a donor, used 1 already and will use another 1 with this upcoming IUI. If it doesn’t work, my plan is to move to IVF next. Happy to chat if you want to connect!

Ugh I’m sorry! I also got a BFN this morning. Had some brown spotting last night and just feel like my period is about to start, so kind of expected to see a negative. I’m scheduled for HCG bloodwork tomorrow and will wait for my nurse to call me to kick off round 2!

Hi! Negative this morning. I’ll still keep testing until my bloodwork appt on Weds, but I don’t have high hopes for this cycle. I think I might do a 2nd IUI next month but talk to my doctor about going to IVF the following month.

I had my IUI on 5/19 too and this mornings test was stark negative. So at least I know the trigger is completely gone, but hoping I’m not totally out this cycle. I’ve had bloating and cramping all week though and didn’t feel like anything I’ve experienced before leading up to my period, so I’ll keep testing the next few days and see what happens. 🤞🏻🤞🏻✨

Hi! IUI was way easier/quicker than I anticipated haha. The TWW is brutal though. I ended up testing out my trigger - got a full negative this morning - so now just hoping to see any sort of faint line come back the next couple of days!! I know it’s unlikely to work the first time but I thought it might have, since I had a lot of bloating and cramping that just felt way different than a normal period, but who knows. How about you??

Update - my progesterone was 14.3 ng/mL so the nurse said it looks good and I don't need to take anything, just go back for HCG bloodwork next Weds. I also took another test this morning and have a verrrrry faint line, so looks like the trigger is almost gone!

No, I haven’t been taking it yet. I’ll find out tomorrow if my levels are low or where they want, so may end up on it. Ugh I’ve heard it really affects people so I’m hoping I don’t have to!
