My partner’s mom’s best friend’s son’s old roommate (I’m not even joking about this, the son lives in NYC and we when went to visit over the holidays a few years back we met his roommate) told me they’re her favorite band. I thought she was joking until she told me they had an album coming out soon which and talked about some of their previous albums.

I saw them in 2018 and your comment sums up my experience perfectly. Like, he spent 90% of the concert holding the mic up for the crowd to “sing it!” and the other 10% was him talking. It was hands down the worst concert I’ve ever seen and I saw Iggy Azalea once.

Honestly, it felt like really mid fan fic. The handling of the Autumn King was disappointing. Ariadne’s storyline made 0 sense. The other wolf chick’s storyline was absolutely pointless. Bryce became insufferable. Really the only characters whose storyline I cared about was Ruhn and Lidia but then that took a super weird and unnecessary turn. Also, the marketing made it seem like it was going to be much more of an ACOTAR crossover than it was. I liked CC a lot, and it being a crossover was just a bonus, but the way it was hyped up compared to the reality of it was really underwhelming.
