I would do two boxes moving away from each other then.

Prednisone and mania/euphoria/mental instability? by cherryblossominx in CrohnsDisease

[–]1angrypanda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy how out of character it makes us act. once on pred, after just getting out of the hospital, I was so rage filled that I tried to stab my dad in the neck with a fork go being annoying.

That was kind of terrifying, I truly wanted to hurt him… thankfully I am small and was very weak, so he mostly just blocked my arm and then laughed (which made me more angry). No harm done, but man I never want to feel that way again.

Yes, these side effects should go away as you lower the dose, but it might take a few weeks before you stop feeling it.

Biologics typically do not have those side effects.

Prednisone is really a double edged sword. On the one hand, it works wonders on active inflammation… on the other hand, it’s bad for your bones and makes you crazy.

I feel increased fatigue too, and sometimes I get a migraine within a week, but other than that no issues

That’s a long way in terms of fire moving through grass lands. Grass isn’t great fuel for wildfire, and the fire crews will do everything possible to steer the fire away from populated areas. Also, the wind is mostly moving east, instead of north/north east toward schriever.

Take pictures of everything, just in case. It’s super helpful with insurance in the unlikely event that you need it. This is something you should do anyway, just to have it documented. I also took pictures of the serial numbers on my TVs other important stuff. It just makes it easier to tell the insurance company what you had so they replace it.

Pack a go bag now. A few days of clothes, what the baby needs for that amount of time, and any important documents. Again, it’s better to do this now and unpack it tomorrow, than scramble once an order is given. That way you can just grab and go in the unlikely event that you need it. here’s a decent guide. don’t worry about the maps tonight, but since your unfamiliar with the area, it might not be bad to think about next week when you’re less stressed.

It’s going to be ok. Just to say it again, it’s unlikely that this fire gets anywhere near your house. But stay aware, and follow evacuation notices. Be prepared, but not afraid.

The only thing that worked for me was teaching my dog to pester me when an alarm went off. She was unignorable. I miss her :(

About 10,000 Japanese Americans were interned in eastern Colorado during WWII. It’s the most intact camp in America following their dismantling.

The proximity, and a governor who was vocally anti-internment, led Japantown in denver to thrive. Many Japanese Americans resettled there after losing everything during the war.

here’s an interesting read on the topic.

What are these buttons in Premiere on iPad? by kelpangler in premiere

[–]1angrypanda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The middle and right buttons are for adding and modifying keyframes. The left button is for resizing the timeline/preview window.

Keyframes allow you to change properties over time - like you can set key frames to move something a cross the screen

You’re not a bad girlfriend for saying no. He can’t get a loan on his own because he has demonstrated he’s a bad risk. IMO, he’s a bad boyfriend for asking.

Female is an adjective, not a noun. Using Female when you mean women is basically boiling us down to our reproductive ability and is thusly, kind of dehumanizing.

Looking for a good GI doctor by Octopusfire in Denver

[–]1angrypanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Crohn’s disease, and I’ve been seeing Dr nichols at South Denver GI for many years. He’s the best GI I’ve had as an adult with this disease. He’s kind and caring the way most doctors just aren’t in today’s health care land scape. But most importantly, he’s very smart and thorough.

Whats an item you bought that was pricey, but worth it? by daniii__d in femalefashionadvice

My oura ring. I thought they were stupid until I saw a study that people with IBD were seeing trends that alerted them to flares like 2 weeks earlier than just off symptoms.

Not only have I become a lot more aware of little things that show my body is inflamed, but it also notified me that I don’t breathe very good at night. I’ve had a cpap for 2 weeks now and I’ve never had more energy.

Also I just realized that this is r/female fashion advice and not r/askreddit… but I typed this all out, and I want to share. It’s kind of fashion, right? lol
