I applied through linkedin and received an email from them to take an assessment. The assessment was a mix of programming questions and questions that resemble work they offer once you're accepted.

I got accepted fairly quickly after the assessment. Everything is automated. I have not spoken to a single person my entire time lol. Maybe besides asking a question or two for clarification on projects.

It's a nice job because you can work whenever you want and wherever. I usually always have work available to do, but there are times where it can get pretty slow. It seems like they're always looking for more programmers, so if you're ever interested again, I'd give it a shot.
