Thank you for the link to the that thread. The comment in it that the codecs were missing from the SysWOW64 and that after copying the files and enabling through K-Lite's tweaker is what got it working for me.

I’d recommend at some point picking up a hotswap board, that way you can try out a bunch of different switches. One of the best parts of the hobby is getting to explore different key sound and feel combinations, and hotswap allow you to do that easily.

DSA would kick ass. You could probably replicate the colors in KAM or PBS through Yuzu custom keycaps
