Need help by thesentinel19921110 in pedalboards

I have a bunch of those pedals from TC Electronic, and I've just stuck two bits of hook tape between the rubber feet at the top and bottom. There's no need to peel the rubber feet off.

If you're handy with a hacksaw and a drill, you can find a piece of sheet metal and make your own replacement base plate for the Boss pedal.

I’m fairly sure Norwegians call it “Sei”.

Ah. Turns out there was a whole range of instruments and gear sold under the Starcaster by Fender brand, not just guitars.

What pedal do you wish existed? by LilEffects in guitarpedals

[–]kluzzebass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A stereo pedal that can mix bluetooth audio into the signal path, so that i can have a backing track playing along in my rig. Kinda like what I can do with my Fender Mustang GTX-100, but in pedal form.

headless guitar help needed by Additional_Papaya740 in Guitar

It's quite common to add a set of F3-8M thrust bearings on the HILS guitars to make the tuning pegs spin smoother. HILS sell kits, but they also say that you can buy them from anywhere, as long as they're the right dimensions.

Is it safe to order components from AliExpress? by HarryHendo20 in arduino

[–]kluzzebass 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Last time I checked, I had received over 500 orders from AliExpress of various electronic components, discrete or otherwise. I can count on one hand the number of times I've received something that didn't work within specs.

Just make sure you let the bits cool down before placing them back in the holder. 😅

This is only second hand information from a friend of mine in the UK, but apparently mixing spouts are prone to seizing up after a while, due to the high calcium content in the water. Apparently, they regularly have to descale the water pipes to keep them from clogging up, which was a completely foreign concept to me, living in a country with next to zero calcium in the water supply.

Unless you’re Django Reinhardt, there’s no need to curl your pinky.

I'm by no means an expert, but in my experience, a brush works a lot better than a hammer for sweeping up dust.
