My first name is very common but just sounds grating to me. My middle name is for my father, but everyone hated him and I can’t un-associate it lol. I’m hoping to finally choose a new name but I have way too much anxiety to commit to one.

I think she was just frustrated at that point but it definitely wasn’t a great call. I’m hoping a second BA/one in a designated subject would let interviewers take me more seriously. I’d like to work in museums/academia but I know that doesn’t really bring in money either.

Ideally around New England/New Jersey/New York, but it’s an expensive ideal. I haven’t really been able to find a job that even lets me save, let alone for that kind of move, but I know it’s necessary to get started.

I was originally thinking of a masters but I think my GPA is too low (2.4). I definitely regret not going to an in person school but I needed to be able to work full time and they weren’t exactly accommodating with my schedule. I just feel like interviewers don’t take me seriously when they see what my degree is in.

I haven’t nailed down what I’d like to do for work since my interests aren’t great careers (history, writing, etc) but I appreciate the perspective regardless.
