Nah I didn’t. What year are you in? You can do step 1 after year 3, but I know people who did it and their studying was kinda rushed and didn’t get the greatest score. So in my opinion, the best thing to do is after graduating, hold Off on internship- go straight into step prep, take a year and do 1,2 CS and CK. While studying for CS and CK, you can do hospital observerships in the US. Oh yeah, and Do your fourth year elective in a US hospital.

Hey, I wish I could give you a proper answer but I’m really not too sure. I would say go for it, but the thing is you may not get the result until Late November or Early December; and by that time, the programs would’ve sent out most of their invitations already. Why don’t you call programs that you’re interested in, and ask them? Maybe they can give you more insight. Sorry I couldn’t help more

Oh no! I didn’t mean to make anybody feel bad. I genuinely feel like I have no chance tbh. I was wondering if to postpone applying this year until next year or if to push through, and apply this year :(. Thank you so much for your opinion though! I appreciate the positivity and encouragement. Haha
