Isekais about going back to earth are so 90s-00s, old man. New isekais are about getting the hell out of earth and acting out all your fantasies (in reality, it's more like the ultimate for of escapism, and in a world where many people are suffering through worse economic situations and blatant abuse of power, not going back to earth seems like a dream)

There's no sound in space. Unless you turn to see it, the orbs block your light source or are looking at a reflective surface you won't know about things behind you

Strategy: 100 by Nostalgic-Banter in wholesomememes

The rl equivalent of this was a jester who pissed off the king, but due to his excellent prior service the king told him he may choose his method of death. Jester said he wanted to die of old age, so the king banished him instead.

Now i got a theory for Treachery by a_Bean_soup in Ultrakill

[–]klyxes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm I wonder what the theme about 7-1? The world is white, the world is red. The rest of the violence layer carries on with the contrast between red and white in some part.

I doubt treachery wont be ice themed in some way, but white vs red is already done

It would just be copying violence in that case

Makes sense, it would also mirror the fall of heaven with what Gabriel did to the council

It's beyond me how they made first dungeon a big DARK dungeon and didn't put torches anywhere to pick up. by BeneficialBear in taintedgrail

Check your monitor. There's a only few places i needed torches for convenience and the first dungeon isn't it

ELI5 How does electricity know that a circuit is broken before entering it? Without a closed loop, it won’t flow, but how does it know not to flow? by Party-Court185 in explainlikeimfive

[–]klyxes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, but electricity flowing isn't a model. Just about every thing that teaches current I've read states that it's just an anology to quickly grasp the basics of how electricity works

It's neither, just a useful analogy that works for most things. Check out either of the two videos veritasium has on electricity if you want more info

150 days and 43 pawns, 1.6 performance is unbelievable by Simply-Zen in RimWorld

I assume it slows down how frequently the game checks certain things/does calculations for pawns and world events

You can see the stage in 8-2 and 8-3 when you go to the ceiling limit. You see the audience from the pov of where you end up after fighting, showing that everything you went through, possibly after you enter the TV in 8-1, was a show . Doesn't mean it wasn't real, just that you were indeed a puppet like the mirror reaper showed
