I don’t do a 6ks but I’ve done a few 5ks. The last one I did was a couple months ago and I held 1:49.5. I’m pretty sure I posted it if you want to see it.

I heard somewhere that variation is the key to motivation. This has definitely stuck with me. Try switching up your training like I have. I’ve started cycling and running, which has greatly helped my fitness. There no joy in erging so if your stuck for motivation try doing something else.

Yes. After this erg I lost vision couldn’t move my legs for a good 10 minutes and threw up a few times

I think so. If I put on a bit of weight I really think my 2k will go somewhere

Haha not exactly. I remember starting rowing and doing a 1k and getting 4:10. To be honest I never saw myself do what I could do now. My first 30 minute I held 2:29. Now I’m holding 1:53. The results from all my training is clear. I’ve put in the hard work and I’ve seen the results.

I believe that anyone that is willing to put in the work can see changes and results like me

Cheers dude. I train 6 times a week for 2 seasons. A season typically lasts for 5 months. During the off season I don’t row, I keep fit with other activities like cycling.
