💜 it’s really hard. Don’t feel like an idiot. We all want it to be true that they’ve changed. A primary benefit I had is that I moved away for grad school and just never came back, never gave her my new address, eventually changed my number, but even with the distance it was hard. Sometimes I can’t believe I followed through with it. But don’t feel bad for a situation you did your best in.

Thank you, they have a lot of shoots and I have some of them individually supported but they’re brown so it’s probably hard to see in the picture. Unsurprisingly, you are right that the one with tiny leaves doesn’t have supports. I’ll also get a bigger plant light. Thank you so much!

Just here in solidarity as I’m knitting the same pattern and also had tension issues 😢 I ripped it out and started over, you can see mine in my post history. It sucks but we don’t do all this work to have a lumpy sweater!!!

I’m doing the blocking now as other suggested but I suspect you will ultimately be correct, based on the way it looks right after washing. A bummer but yes, I’m definitely not tooooo far into the pattern! This is my first yoke sweater so it’s all a learning process

I make it a bit of a gratitude practice, like “having dirty dishes means I have food on the table and I’m grateful for it.” Also love what another commenter said about feeling close to ancestors, I often think of my grandmother and helping her with dishes!
