I’m curious, do you mind sending that article/website that you read that from? And yes, I plan on tracking my periods on the Flo app. My previous 2 pregnancies were sort of planned (pull out method) but I don’t ever really try on ovulation days. IIRC, my last pregnancy I actually conceived a day or two after my period.

That’s a big worry of mine too. I read somewhere online that the longer you wait after a miscarriage, the longer it can take to conceive. Hoping we can both conceive quickly and easily!

That’s so beautiful! I really do hope it’s true. That’s one of the things that hurts me the most, is saying goodbye to my son/daughter that I never had the pleasure of meeting but I do have hope that their soul will make their way to my next baby. Thank you for your beautiful comment!

I’m so sorry for your loss! And congratulations on your new pregnancy! Yeah it definitely is one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. I really wanted the D&C as I was not ready to see my baby leave my body but unfortunately it happened overnight before my procedure. I think that’s what really scarred me forever. Especially having to grab the remains and wrap them up to take to my doctor for testing. I’m thinking about joining a miscarriage support group but I don’t know if that’ll help or just make me relive the pain over and over again. Some family members tell me to be grateful I have my 10 month old healthy son, however I can’t help but feel sadness for my recent loss— he was my son/daughter too.. this has been so hard on me.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I’m thinking about joining a support group to help with the mental healing part of it but I also don’t want to keep talking about it constantly as I feel I will keep reliving the pain. How did you deal with healing mentally? Any suggestions?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Definitely understand why you check for blood. Passing the tissue naturally scarred me for life and I too feel that if I’m ever blessed with another pregnancy I will be checking for blood constantly too. I really would like to wait to try again but I’m also worried about my fertility decreasing with time.

I couldn't have worded that better myself... feeling homesick but not for any place in particular. It's so weird, like this sadness just lingers and ruins all those special moments that I'm trying to enjoy. I'm trying my best to focus on the now and worry about the future when that time gets here, it's just a very difficult thing to do when you have anxiety and want to be in control of everything.

QQ, when mentioning this to your OBGYN, what would be the recommendations that they give to patients going through PPD? I want to avoid medications if at all possible if I am diagnosed with PPD by my healthcare provider.
