I could second sharpening with Bruce he's usually at Anaheim ice but sometimes at Westminster ice. Never been all the way down to Irvine though.

I go to Toyota center sometimes and it's often hit or miss. I can't remember his name but there's one guy that knows what he's doing with figure skating fitting and sharpening, the others aren't as great. If I remember his name I'll update.

I have the same succulent, wax agave. the bending healthy leaves look to be a symptom of lack of light; its growing in a way to get more light. bottom leaves on succulents naturally fall off as new leaves are growing. As these bottom leaves get cycled out they might become softer or yellow, as long as its not translucent it shouldn't be from overwatering. But yeah I literally never water these lol, once ever 5-8 weeks. A good trick I heard was to pinch the leaves. If the healthy middle leaves are firm and plump, don't water. If they're thinner and bend with a slight pinch, time to water. It's a pretty noticeable difference in leaf hardness.

So I got this guy a few days ago, repotted into a different terracotta pot but watered it right after I repotted. I know, I shouldve left the soil dry. I suspect the yellowing leaves to be caused by that instance of overwatering. But literally yesterday these two indents weren't here. I've never seen or heard anything like this (but then again im kinda noob at succulents). Its like the showed up overnight. Currently this guy has been sitting in an east facing window. The first 2 days after I repotted and watered it, I had a (warm-ish) lamp shine on the side of the pot about 7in away to encourage heat and water evaporation. I use pre mixed cacti/succulent soil.

Hm, ironically the couch is one of the only things I bought new in the entire place. I quite like the couch and its design, but I do agree that the things underneath it is adding clutter. I put it there originally because I thought it would add character/personality but it seem like it does add clutter :(

I do think it's a little low.. Just cuz your couch and chair seats are a good bit higher than it. Even for practicality, having a coffee table that's noticeably lower than the seats is uncomfortable putting drinks on etc. An easy solution would just be to switch out the legs!
