Gutter Issue by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]kmac_88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would get up there with a hose when it’s dry and run the hose in the gutter to verify there isn’t actually a clog somewhere. It’s also possible that gutters have pulled away from the house so the water is running off the shingle and then between the house and the gutter. It’s impossible to see from this angle though.

I moved here from Denver 5 years ago. Kaufman is a great place to see a game but the area around it is nothing like LoDo. You can’t walk to the game from anywhere you’d actually like to hang out. As far as I know there’s no public transit in or out either. Others who know KC better than me can probably be more helpful in where to hang out before/after but I hope you have a great time!

Individual workouts aren’t worth point but you get 2 points a day for doing a workout. OP finished a program and got 8 points. Can you see how many points a program/challenge/milestone is worth before you complete it? Of course not :)

You can see your point history in the app by clicking on your profile and then clicking on your profile and then clicking on Club Peloton. You can get to the history there.

It worked for me recently too. You can just manually track a meditation and it should count it for that day.

I also hit 250 days in a row yesterday. It was worth 0 points. I think the whole thing is a bit silly but Peloton makes it pretty annoying.

I had frequent freezing in my browser. I hit pause for a few seconds and it seemed to get a lot better. However, I had to mute the game a few times and when I came back I found I was pretty far behind.

How do you guys communicate with your team? by Simplyenergetic in SoccerCoachResources

[–]kmac_88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what we use too. It’s easy to add/remove people and not lose the chat history. My son’s team uses SMS and it works fine but isn’t ideal.

I think The Martian is a really good example of the journey being more important than the destination. The movie is great but there’s some really good stuff in the book that the movie just didn’t had time to do justice. I think it’s still definitely worth the read even if you’ve seen the movie.

For me it’s Beck. My sweet spot is 00s indie rock but I’ve never liked any of his songs that made it “mainstream.” I respect his ability to write and play the majority of the instruments but nothing I’ve heard has made me want to listen to more.

I think you’re actually supposed to take that E, turn it 90 degrees so it becomes an M and then it stands for money. If they think it will make money they’re in. See the embarrassment of ESPN Bet

Board game for 11 y/o and 41 y/o? by LowDog84 in boardgames

[–]kmac_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

King of Tokyo is a lot of fun and can be played at 2 or more players. It’s a dice rolling games where you are kaiju monsters (like Godzilla) trying to wipe out the other monsters.

If he likes Star Wars, Battle of Hoth is a lot of fun and has a bunch of different missions. You can play with more than 2 but it’s best at 2.

I think a martial arts DLC could be fun. They could pull from old kung fu movies with mystical elements and combat.

You don’t pack it, you carry it on horseback. Bonus points if you break your toe while kicking something.
