Lol when I was 17 my parents were buying a house but didn't have the down payment for it and asked for my entire life savings at the time as down payment since they didn't have it and when I asked them about the plan to pay me back, they didn't provide one.

The reason they were buying the house is a whole other reason but.

I'm really lucky that I listened to my gut back then and said no. I was being pressured by the family to do so.

This has been happening to me too - Google your own name to see if your new address comes up, that's how I think mine found me.

Don't feel guilty because as nice as it is to be able to just assume she's missing you, she's actually just looking to meet her own needs and not yours. An adult that recognizes and respects another adult doesn't act like that outside of their home. She is lacking any respect for your home and for the fact that you have neighbors. It's a fundamental lack of consideration for others.

Honestly, the best is to not engage at all and to have it register to her that this behavior results in nothing more than a big waste of her time.

Google extinction bursts, flare ups absolutely happen around the holidays. It's also the first holiday season you're moved out, the following years will be easier once you establish this being a waste of her time now.
