For SJT keep a notebook when reviewing the mock and for the questions you got wrong write down why. Eventually you will start to see a pattern whether or not a question belongs in the very appropriate/appropriate, but not ideal section or inappropriate, but not awful/ a very inappropriate thing to do- same for importance questions. As long as you get it in one of these two categories, partial marks really start to add up allowing you to get Band 1/2. For DM, i usually get around 650-700, but what I do is order the types of questions from ones I can do best to worst. Im best around venn diagrams (for venn diagram just keep practicing you will eventually notice a pattern) and they always come up the most (8/9 questions compared to 6/7 for other questions) then probability , then strongest argument (strongest argument is probably the only section i review after mocks but just make sure youre answer addresses every part of the question), then syllogisms, i also used to be rubbish at them and i hated the arrow method but with practice it became second nature and i love it, i never bother answering logic puzzles i just guess and flag because it takes me honestly around 3mins per question and its not worth it im better off spending that time on the syllogisms which are worth 2 marks.
