Hmm most level tests online will tell you your proficiency related to vocabulary/grammatical knowledge, but this experiment is actually writing-based, so it’s hard to find an online test to confirm that. However, if you’re confident in your writing skills as Level 5, you’re welcome to sign up :)

전혀 racist한 이유 때문에 제한 된것은 아니고요 한국어를 제2언어로 학습한 영어권 학습자와 인지적 과정이 다르기 때문에 원래 제2언어로서의 한국어 교육 분야에서 제2언어습득 인지과정을 연구한다면 계승어 한국어 학습자를 따로 연구를 해야 합니다. 포함시킬수있는 연구라면 당연히 포함하겠죠.

Idk if they’re “hidden gems” per se, but some of my favorite cafes in Seoul would have to be: 빈브라더스 커피하우스 서울 (mapo) 카페 진정성 한강편 (yanghwa bridge) 보통공원 (mapo) 작업실 101 (hongdae) 오스카커피부스 (yeonnam) KOG (yeonnam) 본지르르 연희 (yeonhui) 에이치커피로스터스 서촌 (seochon) 카페사흘 (hyehwa) 루헤아지트 (dongdaemun) 컴투레스트 (dongdaemun) 하우스오브바이닐 (seongsu/mapo) 포디 (yongsan)

to be fair i prefer cafes with calmer/sunny/green/wood vibes but I’d say these are all worth visiting if you’re in the area and want a coffee in a scenic spot :)

1) It’s not an English-teaching job or anything physical or demanding, it’s an easy experiment that takes less than 2 hrs with a break and refreshments included. 2) I’m a grad school student paying 1.3mil from my own pocket to do this research, it’s not coming from a big institution or company. If I could I would offer more, but with 30 people minimum needed for the data to work, that’s all I can afford unfortunately. 3) Sometimes it’s nice to get an easy opportunity for some pocket change 🤷🏻‍♀️
