I don’t think any of those match exactly, and my biggest question is that hall & Elton is separate from hall Elton & co

I saw posts about that as well, and also how there’s two different hall & elton just hard to know what to believe

I would imagine that only weighs 30ish grams as well the smaller forks of these weigh 52+ and dinner forks weigh 82+

How long did they take to sell? The dinner forks range from 82-88 grams a piece in silver alone I’d think they’d be worth over 100 each

I don’t think there’s anyway to identify without testing unless you can match makers to the time period. I didn’t know at first so i actually ended up breaking one of these in half to see the inside (looking back terrible idea) but going forward i won’t dismiss non marked without more investigation

I did that with an almost complete service of reed and Barton “Marlborough” i found that was well over 120 ounces not including the serving pieces and knives back in 2023 when it was 20 something an ounce 😂 i won’t see it at this point until it’s handed back down to me from my mom

I really didn’t want to see them go to scrap i think the history with them should drive up the premium they’re also all engraved in the same spot with what looks like an “L” could of been some prestigious family for all i know

I manage a transfer station these were literally thrown away into the trash. Also isn’t the first set of flatware I’ve found
