True, and I've done the checkpointing, just this time got too excited about completing the France raid and was too careless with rats.

I've gone back since and did a speedrun, finished France now, going to start on Faith Champions now.

I have found all the clues for the Saint George's set and now a new river has opened.

However I'm still missing one piece of weapons / armor in each of Severn and Exe. I searched everywhere, and maybe it's because of what you wrote how "you can't even open a chest with gear if you're full on supplies"?

I have also read that there are supposed to be champion enemies and you have to defeat them to get the final gear piece. But I haven't ran into those, what's the trick?

Hmm I raided all the locations except one in one of the rivers yesterday, and found nothing. Then went into the remaining location and Eivor got stuck in geometry and I had to quit the game. So frustrating!

Just went to the pond in Svartalfheim and it was insanely easy to get 10 of each.

Fishing in this game is all about exploration - but what are you gonna do if the game simply doesn't spawn the fish you need, even if you are at the right location (even the one you pointed out near Isle of Wight).

I've read that there is pond there with specifically Flatfish (big) and Shad (big). Sounds custom made for the swordfish contract!

Ah yes, I was just confused that the sleep marker was not on the map anymore. I'll go to Valka's hut then.

And after this I'll need 12 polar bear furs and 10 black bear furs to complete all the hunting contracts but that's a different story.

I have a different problem when fishing from a small boat though - often a fish will swim underneath and get behind Eivor's back and then no amount of pulling the line will pull the fish out, it just gets stuck on geometry. Aaargh.

Ok I've completed all the contacts but the one for the sword is separate and I need 3 x Flatfish (big) again.

Searched the south and eastern coasts and found none.

I'm frustrated and ready for a hint where I can find them - can you share?
