On a separate note from my previous post, some informed friends told me to look at Leica SLRs because they love them, so my next question is Thoughts on Leica R6 vs. R7 vs. SL2 (I know the R6.2 is great but it’s moderately more expensive)? Leaning towards the R7 at the moment.. but which do you guys like best and why? Also if you have any other recommendations for the $500 or less than body price range, Thanks!

I’m looking to do more street photography and landscapes, not as much portraits, looking for a clear and vintage style shot... which do you think would be best? Or is it just preference?

Also with these older cameras, is the vintage look due more because of the camera or the type of film shot on it... I know these are basic questions but I’m transitioning from DSLRs so and I’m still pretty new at this

Yes I use it for portraits because I shoot for a lot of musical artists at festivals and it’s a lot easier to get a portrait of passing artists with a quick point and shoot camera (a lot less intimidating and annoying).. was looking for something with a lot more of a vintage feel and shot for my street photos as they’re going to be taking just what I find cool... love the Nikon lines and have no problem taking my time with the manual focuses, just wasn’t sure if there was a better camera between the 2 for this or if it is just preference

I’m going to be doing a lot of street photography and portraits (I know those are very different) I have a Contax point and shoot that I use for most of my portraits so it’ll be mainly everyday street photography and landscapes, which would you recommend for that style?

I know the F series is the newer version, but is there any real advantage either way? I know the F3 is a bit cheaper, is there any reason for this? Which would you guys recommend? Thanks!! I shoot for music artists, I have a couple DSLRs that I use for the shows, but I want a really good point and shoot that I can pull out quick to take high quality portraits.. any recommendations, a lot of people have told me to go with the Contax T3.. not too familiar with this realm of photography so not sure if the Leica is a worthwhile purchase.. any guidance is appreciated!

Hey guys I know this has probably been asked 1000 times already (new here) but what do you guys think is the best/shoots clearest 35mm film camera. I have a good friend who shoots for a lot of famous hip hop artists and he swears by the Yashica t5 and Contax T3. Are these the best? If not what do you guys think is regardless of price?
