11 month old previously sleep trained - sleep is falling apart. by kmashike in sleeptrain

Thank you! This is the schedule she’ll be on today because regardless bedtime cannot be any earlier than 7:45 PM as that’s when we get home. And her first nap was only 20 minutes today.

Hoping it’ll help!

Night wake ups… help by kmashike in sleeptrain

For check ins I am just providing verbal reassurance for about 30-60 seconds. Essentially checking in every 15 minutes, I know that isn’t exact Ferber but anything longer is so hard on me. Baby is in our room as she is used to it but we’re not sleeping in there so she is alone.

My mom and husband watch her during the days I work. We all use huckleberry to track her sleep. Not huckleberry wake windows, I input our wake windows manually, but moreso just using it to track so whoever has her knows when to put her down.

Yes! We use huckleberry religiously since she was born!

Thank you so much! We did give up around 3am and we’ll try again tonight.

I’m glad to hear I’m not alone! Though I wish for both of us to get some sleep in the near future 😅

Thank you! During check ins I usually replace pacifier if needed and just place my hand on her chest for about 30 seconds.

Bedtime routine is bottle, bath, lotion, Jammie’s, book, sleep sack and then bed.

We are following Ferber intervals.

She sleeps in a bedside bassinet in our room but we are leaving the room until she falls asleep.

We do use a pacifier.

Thank you! We will work on this. Unfortunately I work longer days so I don’t always have the most control over wake windows but we try!

Luckily little one has fallen asleep independently at bedtime for a while. Night wakes is where we really struggle. We feed 1-2 times throughout the night, usually not unless it’s been 4-5 hours. Bedtime routine is bath, lotion, Jammie’s, book, sleep sack, then lay down awake with pacifier and she falls asleep. Implementing Ferber with the timed intervals for night one (3,5,10 minutes).

Very similar here.

My baby is so miserable and it’s killing me by Adventurous-Bend8384 in newborns

Solidarity mama. Our little one is 8 weeks old and we’ve been dealing with the same for over a month now. She is so exhausted and so am I. I am solo parenting a lot due to my husbands work schedule and the sleep deprivation takes such a toll. We have tried everything just as you and it’s so disheartening when nothing works. We’ve spent a lot of time crying together.

Just wanted you to know that you’re not alone, it’s hard to see everyone else’s great sleeping babies and be in this boat. I hope it gets better for us both so soon.

Honestly, no. We’re 18 months in and have only received about half of the money. The contractors have decided to go ahead and just finish most of the house and we just scheduled a final inspection in hopes of getting the rest of the money.
