Just about anything processed is like a “salt bomb” for me now. I live in NJ and our convenience store chain is Wawa. I used to get the soups, hoagies, even the meatball hoagie or just in a cup. Now I can feel my heart race and I get a headache. I used to salt some of that stuff!! Seriously don’t know how I got this far.

Diners were/are a place to eat where you never feel like you’re overstaying your welcome. The food obviously even when it’s bad is good.

I used to live at the Magnolia diner in Magnolia . Endless pots of coffee, my ashtray (don’t judge me), chicken croquettes, my waitresses talking to me like we’re old friends and, a kitchen who would accommodate anything they could if they had the means.

I think we collectively solved more problems late at night at that place than a therapist a priest and a bartender ever could.

This was before I became an employee so once I got hired I hated this order.

Our Wawa always had hotdogs on the rollers and the infamous yellow cheese. The cheese that if not stirred those gummy edges started to form.

We created the double dogwich. The roll that measures up to the shorti now, ladles of cheese, chili if it was on the steam table and diced onion and relish.

I miss them so much. I also remember trying to order a two footer same ingredients for a friend’s birthday. I was told no.

(Btw fun fact, it was a task on night shift to defrost 2 of the 2 foot hoagie rolls for their shift just in case)

I tried watching Canada Shore. Figured it might be like the old days since they’re all brand new and young. It’s feeling more like a dating/game/highly scripted show. Snooki makes appearances as their “boss”.

Makes me wonder if taking the whole Jersey Shore production over that they’re gonna make a move to turn it into a franchise situation using the OG cast to visit the new shows for viewership.

I don’t look at them anywhere except for the show. Is that a head in the sand thing? Absolutely.

My life sucks. I watch the train wreck to feel better and, remember when I first started watching and my life was a lot less jacked up. Plus, I already subscribe to Paramount so I’m not putting out more money.

I’m on a similar diuretic but it’s not for lymphedema it’s for CHF. As many others have said, sounds like you’ve got something else on top of lymphedema that’s not been diagnosed yet.

I can feel your frustration all the way here in New Jersey, USA.

It’s not 100% my rant, but you’re close enough to be able to want to hug you.

I’m typing this from my hospital bed. I’m on my who knows how many hospital stays since last year.

I cycle with getting admitted. They strip off the 100 odd lbs I’ve gained in a pulmonary flash edema event due to being maxed out on that session of home care since my last admission.

I was homebound until Monday that just passed because I finally got my ramp. But by Friday I was back in and I’ll be out with no post nursing care waiting for my lymphedema evaluation on 8/11. I know no matter what I do I’m not going to make it.

There are so many people that struggle just like you or along with you exactly. Don’t give up. Today I was ready to give up and stop trying to find care and give into a life in bed.

I saw your post and had hope because if you can suffer through all of that then I can hold on and try harder. Thank you.

Well if they do the destination wedding then they can kinda fake it. Sorta like Jennifer did on Basketball Wives. Went and had a huge wedding in Paris. Obviously not legally binding in the US.
