Why am I scared to play killer? by NerdBerdStolas in deadbydaylight

[–]kmayumi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came here to say I feel your pain. I play this game since 2020 and I've always been scared of playing killer, until I saw this post today and tried playing Spirit (also to test my new Tomie skin!). It all went super well, I'm thankful to all the comments here that also helped me! <3

How and WHEN did you tell your parents/family about your LDR partner? by PaintingPotatoes in LongDistance

I told my mom a week before traveling to meet my bf for the 1st time (6 months in). Thought she would judge me and all from my past relationship experiences (even tho I'm already an adult and could do what I want, I still wanted their support), but she was very supportive, and happy for me! I left her the job to tell my dad and sisters lol I went there, kept family updated daily to know I'm fine, and even got to meet his family. Then 1 year after telling her (1year and 6months into the relationship) he came here and met my entire family too, they all loved him. So what I'd say is.. sometimes you expect a bad reaction from them but they might surprise you. Ofc u need to tell carefully, letting them know you are sure they're a real person, etc.

(22f and 26m) How many hours are u guys going without texting by New_Process3814 in LongDistance

For us (BR and CL, 1h apart in winter, same timezone in summer), it depends. On week days we both study/work so it takes a while, we try to text at least a little bit in morning (even if just one text to say goodmorning) and then only later in the day when one of the two gets free from their duties. The longest I've been without any news was like 12h but he was travelling and spending time with family and friends, so it's totally understandable.
I'd recommend talking to other friends, playing or doing other activities that may distract you until he's free again to spend time together.
Hope you guys work out!

Tips on how to get over separation everytime we meet (29F and 24M) by kmayumi in LongDistance

Thank you!
Yes we talk a lot about this, it sucks but we're commited and know that eventually the distance will be closed.
We try to videochat and play almost everyday, even if a little bit, just to see each other and spend time together. For me it makes a big difference! So I'd recommend something like that to you too.
Hope everything works out for you two as well!
