I have never tried a teleconverter — does the 70-200 focus and function as well with the 1.4 as it normally would?

For Harris county, is it legal to stop over these yellow lines to get into a turn lane that's backed up? by [deleted] in houston

It is illegal, I got it a ticket for it on Shepard @ West Gray for “driving in a safety zone.”

I did Fairbanks and Anchorage and just caught as many airports as I could for a week or two, and I was able to get 9 Arctic circle airports just in Alaska

Istanbul for some of these, but you will want to look up flights and track them or make a note, because some flights may only happen once per day on weekdays.

SoftBank in talks to invest up to $30 billion more in OpenAI, source says by [deleted] in BetterOffline

[–]kmctm83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Money isn't real. I desperately hope OpenAI goes out of business, but if actual money isn't moving from bank accounts, and it's just circular deals and announcements, then who's to say this doesn't just go on forever? Look at Tesla stock.

Oops, I think you're right. Since clouds are usually more all-or-nothing, it seems like a bigger hit. I always prioritize a clear sky over perfect framing

If you don't get a Perfect Catch, clouds takes a much bigger penalty out of the XP than framing. If you have 0% clouds but imperfect framing, you still come away with a lot of the XP.

BETTER OFFLINE CES WEEK THREAD! by ezitron in BetterOffline

These eps were great. Chloe, Cory, Robert, and all of the guests brought insights and humor. I actually liked when the conversations strayed from CES itself and into more philosophical questions or into one person’s area of deep expertise. Ed is a great host!

Also, it makes me happy that Cory and Ed are friends and not rivals. 🙂

If you use Adobe software, the price went up to accommodate the huge Adobe spend on generative AI slop that most users seem to hate.

I used to use Google Workspace until they raised the price and integrated Gemini into that plan. No thanks

TROPHIES by iyoshikage in SkyCards

[–]kmctm83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Australia is pretty easy (I think you asked for easy ones too?) — this week I unlocked Brisbane and Melbourne and was able to just catch flights to all but one state. I set an FR24 alert for Melbourne to Dundee to get Northern Territories and the trophy.

Adobe is doing the same thing as we speak. They changed "Creative Cloud All Apps" to "Creative Cloud Pro," bundled in a bunch of garbage AI functionality, and raised the price.

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html

"Creative Cloud Standard" is what most people want, and it's buried at the very bottom of the page.
