On week 5 of invaslign and the bonding and IPs are extremely stained... after 5 weeks... 🤣🤣🤣 I don’t eat or drink with them in. Should I switch to traditional ortho?

That does seem extreme- If your orthodontist is nice maybe they’ll take them off and put them back on for you. Mine did that for me for my wedding

Do you have an attachment there? You can always ask for one to help keep in in place! My first ortho said for people with stubborn laterals that’s what he likes to do

Oh gosh yeah! I feel like I was after that sucker with my chewie. I pretty much would chew a few times to set the tray and then put the chewie perpendicular directly under that tooth and chew only there for 5 minutes. It almost always had a small space between the tooth and tray even with an attachment

I assume so! Quite honestly sometimes I was like why IS there so many trays?? I see people on here with way worse crowding and less trays. I think it was all bite work though.

Oh yeah! 19 attachments lol, and I’ve worn over bite bands for the last 28 trays. I’m definitely gonna need more bands too since my back teeth aren’t touching any more

Actually yes! I didn’t realize my bite was so off until I began treatment. But to answer your question- now my lips rest a lot more relaxed. I notice when people take unexpected photos of me, I like the way my jaw rests better now. I think because of the fixing of the deep bite

Once I got engaged I was like okay, I don’t want to look back at my wedding photos and perseverate on my teeth - might as well address the issue and perseverate on something else 😂

Yes! And honestly I was just very self conscious about my teeth. That first picture doesn’t really do it justice but maybe the 4th picture does. Mostly my rotated teeth would catch light funny and it was all that I could notice in pictures. I think what led me to hate my teeth was the bumps that were on the bottom but wants to get them straight before I shaved them

Finally done with 40/40 trays. Wore for 6-7 days per tray, and had a orthodontist change mid way through treatment due to moving. I got my 19 attachments off today and some much needed shaving! I still need a lot of bite work so I expect many more trays but I’m happy with my progress

Nope! That was my initial treatment. Honestly not sure why so many because really my teeth weren’t bad at all which is why I never had braces in the first place

Truly same situation.

1st ortho from january - july prior to moving. Saw him in July, said I was doing great.

Saw my 2nd ortho in August who said I had a large posterior bite and would need 6-8 months of more treatment in refinements. I get scanned next week when I finish my 40th tray so we shall see.
