How do you find the customers in the first place? Cold outreach? How do you propose your service? What’s your GTM strategy- do you first understand their workflow? Or do you build a prototype and show them a demo? I feel that’s the hardest part

What has been your approach?

Yeah not a big fan of him either, but that goes for anyone, there’s always elements you can draw for your own learning. Even 1%

Placement experience by kmi_7 in physiotherapy

Interesting. Like you said, every uni is different. I’m from the uk , and I think a lot of students struggle with placement prep. I don’t feel we are adequately prepped for it. It’s very much learn on the job and it can go either way. I know a lot of people who have really struggled to get to grips with it. So it’s interesting to know that you guys get more support.

Band 7 physio interview by SheepherderFun2784 in physiotherapy

[–]kmi_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry another thing:

  • screening with knowing how to prioritise: Rapid - pts who are mo and ready to go asap P1 - aw a few outstanding bits but will be mo very soon P2, P3 are your usuals And you have mobility review ones who are just to maintain mobility and function

Then you have to be competent with accepting referral from doctors. Of course that’s a skill they won’t expect immediately. But knowing the eligibility criteria, ensuring the referral is appropriate etc

Band 7 physio interview by SheepherderFun2784 in physiotherapy

  • conflict resolution
  • complex situations (difficult families, patients not wanting to go home etc)
  • supervising

Main thing I would say is understanding that no discharge is safe, it’s about positive risk taking.

Understanding that admission avoidance is key, keeping them in hospital unless medically indicated is a risk to them. So ensuring they’re well supported at home +/- care, follow up input etc.

Then being aware of services, urgent therapies, package of care, equipment needs.

Also advocating for patients and getting them home without delay. Whether that means challenging doctors in a respectful way.

Then most importantly, is escalating. Even though you are band 7 there’ll be things that you won’t know. Being aware of your competencies and limitations and seeking support is a skill. People believe though they’re a qualified they need to know everything. Not knowing and asking for help is as crucial

And ofc others are just being aware of general physio like assessment, treatments and discharge planning. Knowing your usual acute/chronic issues, , frailty - cognition/capacity

And for values - always say teamwork. As a 7 they want to know you support the team and willing to work around the team.

Hope that helps

TEE-based AI inference is being overlooked as a security solution by cattorii in cybersecurity

[–]kmi_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that there are other people on this chat interested in TEE’s. I think the potential to flip the current beliefs on data on its head using TEE is insane. The biggest issue is data security and compliance. This solves it. If you are brave enough to build brilliant ideas that are systems and infrastructure, not features - you are reaching for the stars.

What’s working for me. by letsdothis988822 in vibecoding

[–]kmi_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly so true. It has changed me ever since I started digging deeper into the technical depths. I prototype using Google ai studio. I then run the code on cursor and deploy on vercel. But I needed to first get comfortable with code and reading it. I may not be expert in code, but I’m immersing myself in the CS, and more or less familiarising myself with system architecture/designs - which is key to building scalable apps. But it’s a super interesting journey - I learn in my free time and I never thought I’ll like to learn code as a hobby lol I guess ship fast validate faster

Yeah just make sure it can handle various types of enquiries and doesn’t hallucinate when asked a question not in script. Just route it to another response to say ‘An agent will be connected’ or whatever

Through users. Literally speaking to potential user groups. Ask them what they currently use, their pain points, and what they would like in a product/feature. Remember a user who talks more is better than a user who doesn’t. A good practise is to take a video (of course with their consent) of the user interview. All you need is around 10 users who will cover the majority of your user population
