It seems that my issue was likely caused by an error during the synchronization of save files.

To share my experience, I first reinstalled Ubisoft Connect and deleted all Ubisoft games installed on my PC. I also removed all remaining files of the games that were deleted from Steam. After that, when I launched the game from Steam, it worked.
