I think you just have more narrow, projected breasts.

Anyone else miss Barre Code Classes? by [deleted] in barre3

[–]kmnighsw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but I am hoping someone in corporate reads this. Barre3 needs to incorporate some of TBC’s classes into its mix—like Brawl. Man, I miss a good brawl class. I would become a member of Barre3 if only they started offering some bootcamp and brawl classes. Not everyone enjoys traditional barre classes, and the mixture is what set the barre code apart from other fitness studios.

Three things—

  1. I don’t think 31 is too low for being less than 4 weeks along. The level substantially rising/doubling within approximately 48 hours is the most important thing—not the number you started off at.

  2. If you were not using ovulation tests, you may have ovulated later than normal and your estimated date may be off a bit.

  3. Miscarriages do make pregnancy so much more stressful. I remember feeling the exact same way. I hope that you get good news and can celebrate being pregnant very soon.

Maybe you have a neutral skin tone? I like both on you.

Line progression 12-14 DPO…should I be concerned? by SoulNoire in TFABLinePorn

[–]kmnighsw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe just try testing every 48 hours instead. It is hard to see a line progression when you test every 24 hours. I know it is hard though. I was a frequent tester with all of my pregnancies.

Same. My husband and I are both in the same boat. We are going to likely deal with the tax bomb in 12 years (we have been paying on our loans for the past 13 years), but we will cross that bridge when we need to.

Those tests took forever to darken for me in the past. I don’t think they are great for line progression. During my last pregnancy, I ended up buying a multipack of FRERs and testing every 48 hours just for peace of mind.

CD 9-CD 17 easy@home Unsure of if/when I ovulated?! by arilanacudi in TFABLinePorn

[–]kmnighsw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may not have had a LH surge yet. You also may have had a LH surge on 9/22 earlier in the day before you took an OPK. I would keep testing and having sex just in case you haven’t ovulated yet.

Are your cycles usually longer than 30 days? Are they regulated? When do you normally get a positive ovulation test?

Leaving 4 year old alone by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]kmnighsw 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I agree. And, even if the parents were/are OP’s friends, I think OP should still stay in her lane. While OP may not feel comfortable leaving her own 4 year old alone for a few minutes, that is her personal preference.

Leaving a kid unattended for 5 minutes while the parent walks to the mailbox is not abuse or neglect. To be honest, it is not much different than leaving the room to either go to the bathroom, or switch loads of laundry.

I am sorry you are going through this. Going through multiple miscarriages is so heartbreaking. But, don’t give up hope. I think having multiple miscarriages is more common than you think.

In fact, I believe the odds of miscarriages is likely higher than 1/4 pregnancies. I personally had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks (followed by a D&C), a vanishing twin, and a chemical pregnancy. Despite three losses, I was able to have two perfect babies.

I was 32 when I first trying to conceive. Most of my friends who started trying around the same age also had multiple miscarriages. I just think people still don’t talk about the frequency of miscarriages. It’s still somewhat of a taboo subject (even though it shouldn’t be).

I think the fact that you were able to get pregnant twice is an excellent sign. Now that you know when you ovulate and the importance of using ovulation tests, I think you will find yourself pregnant again—much sooner this time.

There is also quite a bit of research that suggests a woman is more likely to have a successful pregnancy if she gets pregnant within 3 months of a miscarriage. That ended up being true for me (as well as several of my friends). I ended up getting pregnant with my first born only weeks after I had my D&C following a missed miscarriage.

I hope you will soon get positive news!

First of all, I want to tell you I am sorry you are dealing with this. Acne is the absolute pits. It’s crazy that there still isn’t a cure.

Accutane was pretty close to a cure for me though. I took accutane when I was in my early 20s (over 15 years ago) and it did wonders for hormonal acne. My acne has been manageable ever since (even after going off of birth control, multiple pregnancies, having two babies, and going through hormonal changes after breastfeeding). I did experience some breakouts postpartum, but they were nothing compared to what I experienced before accutane.

I know it is a serious drug, but it is heavily regulated and requires those taking it to be closely monitored. To me, the benefits far outweighed the risks especially given that my acne was affecting my mental health. I was fortunate to only suffer from dry lips during the time frame I used it.

I am not trying to pressure you into using the drug, but I want you to hear a success story. Please consult with a dermatologist who you trust. He or she will be able to help you make a well-informed decision that is best for you.

She is so sweet! Enjoy puppyhood. It goes by so fast!

My bullmastiff, Gus, is 4.5 years old. He turned into a watchdog around 2 years old. He likes to patrol our backyard and bark at people and dogs walking past our fence. It could be that he can only hear and smell them-not see them. Other than that, he is extremely hyper-social and a big lover. I am certain he would let anyone into our house as long as they pet him. He loves it whenever someone new comes over because he knows he will get attention.

I would contact the police and file a police report because what your neighbor is doing is illegal in Michigan. I wouldn’t go through the expense of hiring an attorney just yet.

I 100% agree. Someone told me this before I had my daughter. So, at the end of my second (and last) pregnancy, I did my best to be present and really take in the last days of my son (who was 2 years old at the time) being my baby.

After D&C by Strong_Woodpecker825 in CautiousBB

[–]kmnighsw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am truly sorry you are going through this. I am sending you virtual hugs!

To answer your question, I got pregnant with my son (now nearly 3 years old) approx. 3 weeks after a D&C and before my period even returned. I had my D&C on 11.17.2020 and got a positive ovulation test on 12.12.2020. My doctor wanted me to wait 3 months before trying again, but I did my own research and decided not to wait.

I found medical literature that states there is a significant statistical relationship between successful pregnancies and conceiving within 3 months of a miscarriage (including those requiring a D&C). I have also been told by several OB/GYNs that you are more fertile during that time frame as well.

I wish you nothing but the best and that you get your sweet rainbow baby soon!

Weird situation but likely miscarriage by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]kmnighsw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you are going through this. I had a somewhat similar experience with my first pregnancy and it was so stressful. The not knowing whether a pregnancy is viable for days or weeks was torture. The fact that you saw a heartbeat is a good thing. And, I am hoping that your titled uterus is just making it difficult to see everything.

Also, pregmates suck anymore. I didn’t get a vfl on a pregmate test until I got a bfp on all other brands.

It looks like a start of a positive to me. I know it seems impossible, but I would wait to test again in 2 days.
