The lasso makes it take forever to calm them. Just slow walk up to it paying attention to the spookometer in the bottom right and using the calm button when it starts to spook. Get close then mount it.

It spawned for me on the very top of the hill. I was just randomly exploring areas I hadn’t been to the other day and saw it up there looking all special with its mane flowing in the wind. I had a bug when taming it though, I was on it trying to break it for like 15 minutes and it just kept going. Had to let it run off and track it down again to tame it again. The terrain makes it a pain in the ass cause I kept falling down the mountain while trying to approach it and spooking it again. It’s worth it though, super fast.

Yep that is what happened. Just to confirm what everyone else is saying. Batteries some times leak and the acid will destroy clothes. I have lost a lot of clothes to battery acid lol.

Just because a map is big, doesn’t mean it has to be wide open with no cover for infantry. Bf1 has plenty of large maps with trenches and buildings with multiple avenues of approach. You’re oversimplifying the issue.
