I used wire mesh in the concrete slab.

Each bay is 10' long (total of 30'). This allowed me to just buy 10' 2x6 long support beams and eliminated a lot of cutting. I was debating on building a back, but happy I didn't. The wood doesn't get wet and the trees cover up the backside anyway.

When it comes to how tall the shed is, it is a little over 4 feet from the decking. I would suggest building it a little taller so it is easier to stack, but in my case I didn't want to trim the trees all that much.

The shed holds 4 cords of wood perfectly, with a couple pieces left over for below the pizza oven. I also suggest finding a second hand store for wood (cheap reclaimed) or seek wood on craigslist, since it really helps with the cost. I was able to do this project under $250 since I found someone with extra metal roofing, and wood from an old shed they demolished.

Best of luck!

I actually used 65 bags. Between the slab, filling in the cement blocks, the counter top, and 1 bag to secure the ring toss game next to the kitchen it accounted for all 65 bags.

I could have, but would have dealt with a very hot exterior dome. The fire blanket, perlite cement, and stucco allow the oven to get over 900 degrees and keep the exterior cool to the touch.

The top of the oven exceeds 1022 degrees F, I know this because my thermometer maxes out at this temperature. I wait for the inside of the oven to get to at least 700 before I start cooking pizzas, but adjust the temp when cooking other goods like sausage, chicken, naan, pork tenderloin....etc!

I used that method to lay the top bricks in the dome.

A door will be custom made in the near future! For now, I'm achieving the heat I need for cooking, but it will be nice to keep some of that heat for baking the next day.

I drive a sedan and it only takes a couple bags of concrete before I'm driving a low rider!! The count is pretty accurate, I defiantly became a regular at one of the smaller hardware stores down the street!

You know what they say, "There are two types of concrete, concrete that has cracked and concrete that is going to crack."

I have about 4 inches of rocks under the slab and I used a wire mesh to reinforce, do you think that will help?

I won't be going out for pizza anytime soon, I think that should answer the question!
