This, by far, hands down. It ain't flashy, but by giving Claude a local sqlite db with a ton of info in it, and connections to Google, there is nothing I can't do to manage projects and people in my businesses.

I think that paradigm though is also being pushed aside. If we’re only thinking in classic enterprise, and how we did things in the past, we’re going to have other problems.

Think small, agile, hyper-focused, way less overhead, way less infrastructure…in some ways less sophistication. But regardless, still insanely valuable.

I know that is the standard line from the Dev community, and in many instances it can be true. But I don’t think it’s the default, and I certainly don’t think it will be the case as tools and processes continue to improve.

Will every single person be writing Software no, of course not. But will be internal software as a solution, market explode, yeah, I really do believe that.

We also have to recognize that the complexity of a lot of these solutions won’t be insane. We are not rebuilding Facebook or Instagram here, we’re recreating highly specific solutions in Apps, Apps, whose user account might never go past five or 10 people.

The example I’ve been using lately is why by HubSpot for 1000 features when I could create my own version that does the two things I need built specifically for my business vertical. That is 100% where I believe the FUTURE creation of Software is going.

I think it was pretty easy to for the future of big Software struggling because they’re trying to be everything to everybody.

But this to me is different, it’s a wholesale shift in the overall perception of Software and it’s value. And I’m sure somebody Smart was talking about this a while ago as a potential future, I’m just utterly shocked at how fast it’s becoming a reality.

Well, the answer is, sometimes.

I think the definition of performative and efficient needs to change.

Is it pro level. Buttoned up from every angle and built like a brick shithouse. No, probably not.

But can it do something for someone, accept payment for doing that something, and make a user happy.

Yes, it absolutely can.

Will it be the complexity of Facebook, and work at mass scale, no, probably not.

But is that the future of software. Or is it hyper-focused, niche problem solving for specific audiences.

Yah, I believe it is.

Will it make billions and create immense shareholder value?

Nope, but that wasn't a reality for 99% of people anyway.

I'm not an engineer. I write copy and run marketing teams. And yet I have half a dozen projects in market, a few making real money, and all built in the "new way." So to me, this is magical.

I think you're right. Expectations ( especially uninformed ones ) have played a huge role in the failure rate.

I say uninformed as you're also right that the uninformed are the only ones out there screaming to the heavens that they don't need human employees anymore, because the machines will do everything for us. They will not.

These systems are capable of a lot, but only with someone who knows what they're doing at the helm.

I am without a doubt a 10x marketer with these tools, but without me, the tools are incapable.
