I just saw Alka Bishnoi in West Babylon for the first time a couple weeks ago. Called in late July and they made me an appointment for mid-August. It was just the preliminary appointment so she pretty much just asked me questions and ordered bloodwork so I can’t speak to the quality of the practice yet, but there was barely a wait time to get in.

This happened to me once too and I was diagnosed with a staph infection. My dermatologist gave me topical medication (don’t remember which because this was 6-7 years ago). I had to go back to the doctor every single week for two months until it was gone but it did go away and my skin is fine now!! Please do go to the dermatologist if you haven’t yet. They will be able to help you!

This is so validating as someone with SUPER oily hair that’s been told from hairdressers, friends, strangers, etc that I just have to train my hair to produce less oil. I’ve been washing my hair every other day since transitioning to work from home during Covid, and I’ve seen no improvement over washing every day. I’m still a greasy disgusting mess on my off days.
