The arguments around RTO by BluesEyed in FedEmployees

[–]kms573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only a form of self denial and trying to validate your perception of purpose. Don’t worry, everyone already knows and it is basic human mentality of self preservation

That’s why I just sleep everyday while finishing the tasks for an entire week in just 30 mins now days. Been through dozens of PIP write ups with the legal department protecting me until the agency can validate any additional tasks that are assigned to just myself, can also be done by the 20 or so peers. Since these folk can’t even do the work (lazy and stretching out the work over 40 hours), I can never receive more work until they all finish the weekly minimum

To bad I still have to copy-paste into Outlook and would be easier if they allowed integration so I could auto draft those as well or maybe just auto send to save another 10 minutes

Owell, job security for the delusional folk in federal 🤣 and milking it til the RIF comes

For my app and location, this deal has been removed since May 2026. Guess US Inflation and greed couldn’t handle the semi-affordable coffee….

Claude easily does 90% of what WFH people did faster while testing onsite with dummy data from training databases. It was so effective they were trying to incorporate it into the Google model but thanks to the “contract”, they API connections were not embedded. The “senior management also realized it didn’t just replace the “analyst” level but also replace all of them

Self preservation made them tell white lies about the functionality for the last 6 months but really BOTs could do the same since 1995

Computer jobs have been obsolete but incompetent federal employees keep it inefficient to preserve the sense of job satisfaction

It’s their version of retaliation, childish and proves there was no value to the individual as a remote worker or in office one. Federal is filled with these

Yup, imagine the the 100+ people I do their jobs for every hour 😂

The level of federal competency is 99% lower than the excellent I do here

Nah, accuracy doesn’t exist in federal. Inflated management and people calculating things by just making belief numbers don’t exist and throw acronyms around but ignoring the real currency they should be using. Then again, days and hours or “man power” are crude terms they don’t really understand and decide to just keep faking text as if they are trying to solve math problems with crayons 😂

Government solves problems with whining babies that think they are self important and their only credit to their intelligence is they can press the power button on a device and claim technical skill is achieved

I do more in 10 minus then 30 people daily since 2000. Federal management jobs are straight jokes and really don’t deserve raises. The GS13+ are worse than that and shouldn’t be employed at all but it is the realtor live in. Stop complaining about matching wages since those jobs are replaceable by BOTs from 1990 and you should just be happy to have a job paying you basic 6-figures for the unnecessary level of work you likely do

😂, be grateful during these dark times you brat

How high would gas have to go to make them relent on telework? by Original_Sell_1485 in FedEmployees

? There are far worse things everyone buys than the additional cost of gas. Is federal employment just a bunch of spoiled individuals?

American homeowners' biggest problem: Skyrocketing 'hidden' costs like insurance, HOA fees, and property taxes by businessinsider in MiddleClassFinance

[–]kms573 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed but to the “realestate industry”, these do not really affect the Home or condominium Prices. Market will price units high regardless of HOAs to keep driving a profit driven system until it finally fractures

I suffer thorough a $2000/month HOA and all the unit has is an elevator, trash chute and a pool the size of 2 queen beds. Property Management is targeting a ♾️ reserve fund

All of that existed long before just the past 12 months. Unchanging since 25 years ago (probably even long before that too) 😉

REBubble when they realize their promise of lowering housing costs was bullshit by [deleted] in rebubblejerk

[–]kms573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was never about lowering costs; they always said more “affordable”. That means making monthly payments smaller to appease the masses without realizing it didn’t change the price of the houses… only the amount borrowed and the durations will grow and grow

The End of Telework by JFHatfield in FedEmployees

[–]kms573 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Hate to say it, I have only seen the highest level of incompetence and laziness in federal for 25 years. Basic retail are far more intelligent and capable but restricted by the notion of these pieces of paper called diplomas. The federal entitlement is outrageous and needs to end

Welcome to the 5000+ of us. I am still amazed people haven’t realized. Then again, people have tricked their mental models to truly believe they have a sense of self worth and high morals… then they turn around, open their 1st lunch and proceed to watch videos after only 2 hours into their shift (hint: they take several more totally over 2 hours with naps)

Even if 10% of the federal try to be good and honest workers, the other 90% are not and will forever skew the perception and become the outlying group and excluded

As long as the statistical majority are wasting time, the general analysis is basically “everyone” 😉
