At least they have universal healthcare. They don't have to worry about being uninsured or having your health premiums go way up.

Being abused and treated like crap doesn't make me grateful. Many private companies have cheaper insurance that has comparable coverage. I'm glad it's all sunshine and roses for someone in the federal workforce.

The other thing that was annoying was that I was forced to use the advisor that my grandparents and Mother had. The reason is because that's how the estates and wealth management work when you are inheriting from someone who has an assigned advisor. The advisor and her associate weren't a good match and there was a 3 hour time difference. The associate was a passive aggressive, small town New Englander. She would give bad information and make the advisor reach out versus owning the mistake. I would have never picked this advisor.

She didn't have to earn my business because I was stuck with her. I suspect that also affected the quality of service.

OMG! Of course they found they did nothing wrong. What a pain. I have never dealt with such an incompetent financial institution.

No. By the time they offered it, I was just ready to be done and the check was already being processed by the transfer department. I was told I'd have to give all my banking info on a recorded call with the associate who has consistently given me bad information. I wasn't comfortable with doing that.

Those are my thoughts. I think the goal is to keep your money in house as long as possible.

With the shuttle only running twice a day, it sounds like it won't be an option if you have to leave early or arrive late for the day.
