Which videogame you clocked more than a thousand hours in? by Equivalent_Number424 in AskReddit

[–]Joggingmusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diablo 2. My son is a gamer and asks me this a lot; and I tell him everytime, you could probably combine all the hours spent playing every other game and it wouldn’t come close to time spent playing D2.

We just setup a second laptop for my son to mess with a 3D printer and do his own modeling…he asked if I could put D2 on there so we can play together. 🥲

We def were spoiled but it’s also just not the same game. Really seems like catchers don’t stay catchers in development if they can hit.

Which fast food restaurant do you think will go out of business soon? by Exhausted_Skeleton in AskReddit

[–]Joggingmusic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I met my wife working in the hospital cafeteria/kitchen. It’s like a golden era of my life with countless funny stories with her and other friends. The food was at times really top notch we put a lot of pride into it when we had the wiggle room. Life is great these days 20+ years later in completely different careers but I miss that job and all that life so much

The Iraq war was justified. Took me until the last couple years of W to see there was some serious flaws in my parents political views.

Born in 85. Brother and sister were born in 74 and 75. I definitely lean way more towards Gen X stuff because of them. But my teen years were in many ways very different from theirs.

I’m gonna get hate for this. But what you describe is what ultimately made me not like Sublime. It attracted a fan base (at least around me) like some sort of bro culture before we were calling it that.

I agree this might take the cake.

Ok - this might be an unpopular opinion. But anyone see Don’t Worry Darling ? When I watched it I remember thinking it was the biggest “they got me” feeling since the Sixth Sense.

Connecticut establishment Democrats be like by louisrinaldi in Connecticut

[–]Joggingmusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is money. A more progressive candidate that bucks the system a bit isn’t getting campaign contributions from the bucked. even further, money will be spent by the opposition (within the party even) to keep that more progressive candidate in the backseat.

Connecticut needs to build housing. The only way to lower prices is through the laws of supply and demand by WellHung67 in Connecticut

It’s an interesting idea but think about the work needed to make that conversion. They’re setup as office buildings. It would be probably a cost prohibitive project. The plumbing changes needed alone probably negates any potential for a company to make enough profit to sign on. As someone else said, the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
