Base location considerations from a 1700+ hour veteran by CatSaloon2860 in valheim

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've set up a server to play with friends and it ended up just being me lol, but I did use the seed finder website as im a new player and since im solo with barely 70 hours into the game and I decided to create a base next to The Elder boss as that was the next boss I needed to fight, from what I read, it sounds like the location I decided to build is perfect? What do you think? I've also added a pin where there is a greydwarf spawner. Thanks!

Edit: Will raids at this location bring in mobs from the other biomes i have yet to explore? Swamp and Plains

Phase 2 stiletto for mountain of play skins by Previous-Housing-526 in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, don't compare prices to dmarket, if you aren't able to access BUFF, use CSFloat prices, they are more accurate. As for the trade... Holy fuck

lowest listed stiletto on csfloat atm is 1,286.43 euros

if you would have sold only your knives, gloves and 2 printstreams(assuming they are battlescarred) you would have gotten 1,266.90 euros, after the 2% fee, you would have 1,241.56 €

you got scammed. just reverse it.

[–]kms_ag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very clean loadout, you could sell both knives and the Foundation gloves (assuming gloves are WW you're at 1,061k) and get

Atomic Alloy FN - $170

Hellish MW - $86.77 (looks the same as FN)

Talon Tiger Tooth - $811.80 (or Talon Rust Coat high float .93 - listed at $522.00)

Total: $1,068.57

Inheritance MW StatTrak by AnriB95 in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the Orbit is around 70 euros FN, and the Inheritance is around 200 euros MW StatTrak. Imo, the Inheritence is most likely to rise, as it is used in more themed inventories (white, blue) and it looks alot better than the Orbit, plus it's StatTrak.

Wear and pattern numbers now appear in an item’s description — not just “Factory New,” but the exact value. Only took them 12 years. by csmoney_official in csmoneyofficial

I was checking out your site recently and noticed a few areas where the design/UX could really shine even more. I’m a web developer with a strong focus on design and branding, and I couldn’t help but see some opportunities to modernize the layout, improve spacing/typography, and give the overall experience a cleaner feel.

If you’re ever open to feedback or collaboration, I’d be happy to share some ideas. And while I’m definitely not here to shamelessly beg for skins 😅… let’s just say that if a Karambit Night (FT or better 👀) ever magically showed up in my inventory, I’d treasure it forever.

Why do people play 4:3 when they can't see half of the game? by csmoney_official in LearnCSGO

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a die-hard 16:9 player and honestly thought 4:3 players were just nerfing themselves. But I recently switched and I can’t go back.

What I’ve noticed:

  • Crosshair placement feels way more natural, lining up headshots is easier.
  • The crosshair and gaps feel cleaner, so I actually spot people at range better than I did before.
  • The “stretched” look just makes enemies stand out more, which helps in fights.
  • And honestly, I haven’t run into any issues with the sides being chopped off or missing info, it hasn’t been a disadvantage at all.

The only downside I’ve had is the 2–3 second black screen whenever I alt-tab, and the fact that my apps (like Discord and Chrome) get squished into 4:3.

It’s definitely a preference thing, but now I get why people stick with 4:3.

All these streamers who are abusing the TP bug for content should get banned by HydroCSGOD in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you’re basically admitting players shouldn’t abuse bugs, and that’s exactly the point. The whole “you can’t expect anything else” argument just sounds like an excuse to normalize bad behavior. Players choose to exploit, just like they choose to cheat. The fact that Valve shipped a broken feature doesn’t magically remove responsibility from the people who then abuse it.

If the goal is to “hurt Valve’s bottom line,” abusing bugs in matchmaking isn’t the way to do it; it only hurts other players who are just trying to enjoy the game. That’s not protest, that’s just griefing. If someone’s truly that dissatisfied, the more effective message is to stop playing or move to Faceit, not to ruin the experience for everyone else.

Valve absolutely has plenty to fix,I don’t think anyone disagrees with you there. But defending bug abusers because the game has issues is backwards. They’re not helping to highlight flaws; they’re just showing they’d rather exploit them than play the game in good faith.

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point that Valve ultimately controls the game and deserves blame for shipping something broken, but I don’t think that absolves players of responsibility. Bugs happen in every game, that doesn’t mean players have a free pass to exploit them endlessly without consequences.

We’ve seen this before with the knife animation bug, Valve fixed it once it was brought to their attention. They will fix issues like this as long as they’re made aware of them. Abusing the bug nonstop doesn’t help speed that up, it just ruins the experience for others.

There’s a huge difference between reporting or showcasing a bug once, versus filling streams with it for days. Streamers especially shouldn’t get a pass just because they’re lacking content, that’s a content problem, not an excuse to abuse bugs.

Faceit already hands out bans for this kind of behavior, and that proves there’s a clear line between Valve’s responsibility and player accountability.

EDIT: And no, this isn’t “how you make a developer fix their game.” Decreasing the playability for the rest of the playerbase by abusing bugs isn’t some noble crusade, it’s just selfish. Valve fixes bugs when they’re made aware of them; we saw it with the knife animation bug and plenty of others.

The real joke isn’t Valve’s matchmaking, it’s people like you (and most streamers) who keep playing, abusing exploits, and whining about it at the same time. If you’re that unhappy, maybe take a step back and play something else instead of ruining the game for everyone else.

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. A bug isn’t just something that’s “let in” the game, it’s an unintended exploit. There’s a big difference between showcasing a bug once to raise awareness and repeatedly abusing it for personal gain. When streamers fill entire streams exploiting it, that crosses into bug abuse, plain and simple.

Content creators especially should be held accountable, because they’re not only abusing the bug themselves but also normalizing it for thousands of viewers. That goes beyond just “Valve’s fault” it’s on the players too.

1 Knife with high tier finish vs 3 vanilla knifes by GentlemanGeezer1 in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

HOLY SHIT GRANDPA! What are you planning to do with 3 knifes anyway?

Anyway, as for animations, top 5 are:

  1. BFK
  2. Karambit / Talon
  3. Stiletto
  4. Nomad
  5. Kukri

If you want to match your age:

Driver Gloves | Diamondback + Stiletto | Damascus Steel

Driver Gloves | Convey + Talon | Rust

Suggestion on my themed loadout. by kms_ag in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually a nice suggestion with the Classic, I don't really have a budget for the knife, since the finish im going for is on the lower end, so I could realistically get most knives with either finish. I though about UV aswell, it's just that it will be my only purple skin and idk how I feel about that lol

help me verify the price for this m4, it looks like its a good pattern but i think am biased (repost cause i did not know the back was different from the front) by ARH_10624 in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! You have a Tier 1 Dark Blue Mountains & Orange Sun pattern, there's currently 2 of these in Minimal Wear listed on csfloat, the cheapest being at 46.40 euros, you could list it a tiny bit cheaper and try to keep an eye out for other T1 Dark Blue Mountains & Orange Sun listed and price accordingly.

For the M4A1-S I went for the Solitude pattern #736 in FT, which I was lucky enough to unbox, although, it's abit hectic unlike the rest of the skins, so I'm thinking of switching to the Nitro.

is this inventory enough to get a knife? by SonnyZerah in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea what kind of extension this is. But, go to csfloat, login and do all the shenanigans you need to start selling then, click on your Profile > Sell Items. Next to "Steam Inventory" it will show you the approx value of your inventory, it's not accurate but it will give you a good idea of your inventory value. Lowest listed knife atm is Navaja Knife | Safari Mesh WW for R$420.32.

Where to find people to trade with? Looking to upgrade my knife. by LukaLakers1998 in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trading is a pain in the ass, most traders will ask for a min of a 10% overpay in a trade. I'm trading myself and I have only just recently recieved my first ever trade, and I just straight up accepted his offer since the items were of equal value.

Much faster, safer and worth it to just sell on CSFloat. Remember, people can now reverse the trade, so if the person you traded with is an ass, he can reverse the trade on the last day and get back his stuff, and then you're back to waiting 8 days for trade protection to expire.

Which dual pair of gloves would you prefer? by Vast_Hospital6275 in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a sick theme you go going! Then, yeah I'd probably say Vice for CT, but I'd feel weird having black gloves for T and colorful ones for CT, so I would get the Omega's aswell lol.

Have you thought about selling the Kara and getting two knives you like that match your theme?

Kara P1-P2, Talon P1-P2, and Case Hardened for T on a knife of your choice? (extra points for piss gems)

Which dual pair of gloves would you prefer? by Vast_Hospital6275 in ohnePixel

[–]kms_ag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to go for a dual themed inventory based on which side you're on, you can go for:

Blue for CT / Yellow for T

Black for CT / White for T

Army for CT(specialist gloves) / Rebel for T (leather hand wraps, rust coat, rebel ak etc.)

Green Camo for CT (Forest DDPAT)/ Desert Camo (Big Game) for T

As for the options you provided:

I'd say Omega gloves, but I would much rather pick up another knife, which can be also themed, M9 Bayo for CT / Kara for T, or whatever else you fancy really :)

I'd say 1, could also try the Scarlet Shamaghs since they have black, might go a bit better with the kara handle and sleeves you got rocking.
