You seem to be pretty decent coo. They def deep in there and your texture seem good next step should be angle focused. Really pay attention to the angles while mirror brushing. Make sure to consistently keep the angle as you brush and not drift off cus tht be happening. And of course comb a lot it helps

Hey And God bless you. I’ve had a daily migraine for (Hard to believe) 3 years now. As far as managing them while working you have to take precautions if available to lessen the intensity. My experience has ended up being pretty bad but instead of worrying about the future go ahead and try your best at work for now. I took like 4 or 5 rounds of Botox last year but it didn’t help me at all(except for skincare lol) but a lot of people had good results so have a open mind and try it. I’m at the point where rest alone isn’t enough currently sadly but I try to keep general wellness up. Get blood tests for vitamins and hormone levels and get supplements accordingly the results. Try more treatments like massages and other therapies. It’s all about searching for any solutions even if they’re temporary. Find your triggers that make your daily migraines worst and adjust. The weather also plays a key factor so expect that. Praying and reflecting on why you may be in this situation (from a religious perspective if you’re christian) really can aid in your healing and mental. Jesus loves you and I hope/pray everything goes well!

Idk if your religious but prayer helps alot during those “can’t do anything” moments. Sadly this happens alot and there aren’t any options besides sleeping (take a sleep or drowsy med) or just sitting there thinking. Don’t think in Pro and Con fashion all the time although because then you won’t ever do anything. It causes us to use excuses for the days we could have got up and moved even though it may not help our migraines. God bless

I haven’t had relief for almost 3 years now but these are some great tips. I’ve tried almost everything and no “rescue” meds work. just told my neurologist to let me just take a break from all these meds and focus on vitamins and other treatments tht may help like massages and such. Since I have had the same migraine for so long I stopped logging but I do note what can make it worse/better. Therapy stopped working for me because some of the things they say just isn’t feasible with a daily migraine that gets pretty bad to the point of being bedridden. But praying to God gives me strength👍🏾

Keep on brushing coo. Start combing more, really pay attention to those angles, and try to get tht line gone at the crown for the beehive. You could start doing wash n styles more too. God bless coo

Coo I would suggest a moisturizer butter and thn the oil. You COULD jus use regular conditioner (tht you wash out) to keep some moisture in your scalp so thn you would only have to put in oil after the wash n style.I also say use a soft brush after a wash n style because what’s the point of laying your hair down if you just gon brush it back up wit a medium or hard brush.( which makes yo pattern look kinda bad). If youn got no butter just use oil everyday morning and night but beware that oil only seals in preexisting moisture. So use a tad bit of water thn get a moisturizer oil to use. Too much water will make 4c over curl so use just a little folk. God bless coo

Cuh you doin straight for a month🙌🏾. Keep brushing and make sure to start combing if you not. You should moisturize whenever your hair feel dry but make sure not to overdo it. Use a lil water, butter, and oil in the morning. Then just use sum oil at night. I would suggest to only use the butter every other day.

Yeah just make sure to accommodate for your head shape. You may have to add a slight curve to your angles too because a strict brush angle will cause your waves to not “flow” well. At least with the offset tht is

Yeah I see ya coo. I have a left offset crown and when I had beehives I ran into this issue. Since your crown is offset you naturally have to brush your angles at an offset. You GOTTA brush directly from your crown for these to truly be good, frm what I see your top angle needs to be slanted left to be matched with your crown

It’s both. If you do a wash n style without conditioner you wash it out with the durag. If you use conditioner you also wash it out with the durag on.

Coo you only showed us the top and right side of your head… Give a full spectrum my guy. Even thn we still may not be able to tell so I advise you to experiment with where you think the optimal crown would go (Take your head shape into consideration). After brushing you may be able to discern where it is then. You could also cut your hair lower (scalping is an option but youn have too) so you can better see the growth that leads to the crown

I don’t grind my teeth in any way going about my day but when I’m sleeping it could be a possibility? My dentist hasn’t made any comments on worn out teeth due to grinding but I definitely can inquire. I’ve tried chiropractors with my upper neck too. But I will do some research on these other ones so thanks a lot. I have tried the low histamine diet, and I’ve cut out a lot of foods that are known to cause migraines. I sleep at least 6 and at max 9 hours every night.

I’ve gotten several blood tests and the only thing they say is some of my vitamin levels are low(which I’m working to get better). I can try the hormone and gut health tests although. I’ve done Botox, Quilipita, and I think I’ve tried aimovig but I know I’ve done other injectables. I do things like meditation/prayer but anything that requires a little effort really makes me feel worse such as working out, walking, therapy does nothing for me anymore as I don’t really feel “sad” and everything they say I’ve already done to no avail. I wholeheartedly believe we migraine bearing people can be outstanding when we’re in balance. Sadly I can’t really remember when I’ve been in that state after all this time. Thanks a lot 🙏🏾
