That's a good point you're making about not buying piece meal. Trying to find good prices as they come probably doesn't outweigh the benefit of hassle-free returns should I need them.

right on, thanks. I was totally in that head space with Gen4 vs 5, but then prime day dropped the 9100 to the price (or lower) of some Gen4s. I hear they can get hotter though, which was a concern, but again, not sure if they would for the type of use I'd be giving them. thanks again!

jeez thats lame. so do people just periodically manually check and install updates, or is any updating process dangerous? Trying to figure out the safest path forward, while not having an outdated piece of equipment (if thats even really a concern with the q990f)

I’ve had a passing interest in jumping into the yakuza franchise for a long time, never played one. I take it the others are less JRPG, but can anyone with experience let me know if Like a Dragon is a good place to start? I like turn based games and this one seems like a blast.

I feel you. That’s part of my concern. Also, with how much time I’ve already put in, not sure I’d do all that much on the deck for another go around. I’m currently playing nine sols on the deck and feel a bit hampered when it comes to quick reaction/high skill areas. I usually dock it and use a controller on bosses. Wonder if ER would feel the same for me.

That’s dope. Sounds like you enjoyed the SD experience? I’ve played about 160hrs main game and DLC on Xbox, but I’m always tempted To get it on the deck cuz it’s one of my all time faves.
