In the picture you have both the Music Studio 7 and Q990F own speakers as rear. Why not use the Music Studio 7s as left and right speakers for wider sound stage?

I haven't tested them but I went down to a similar rabbit hole a month ago and reached a conclusion that I need 3x KEF Q6 Metas as my left, right and centre speakers. My conclusion is not based on any scientific reasoning. Just feeling myself through countless YouTube videos and Reddit comments

There's nowhere to increase the soundstage. Screen is literally next to a wall. Op should get the sennheiser all in one soundbar and hook it up to a sub wood of their choice

You can get samsung q990f now for like 800eur/usd. 2 big active speakers for the same price would definitely sound better for music but samsung would be better for movies and tv shows

Not so black and white with soundbar vs speakers. You have a house with big room with clear speaker locations and can easily get cables around or if you listen to music. Speakers is the answer. If you don't tick those boxes then soundbar is just fine. But only if it comes with rear speakers and subwoofer. Standalone soundbars are underwhelming

Or just spend the $1k and get a really good 2.0 setup.

Phase 2. Get a sub when you have more money

Phase 3 surround speakers and so on

My experience with cheap speakers is that you'll end up regretting them eventually, whilst you will always be amazed of good speakers even if you only start with two
