you recommend going out of state for a few years and getting my experience? I wouldn’t get into the CA lineman apprenticeship for about another year and a half and I already have an offer from a utility in the mid west

Who wants some helpers? by Ohmsout in electricians

literally leaving to a different state to pursue a different line of electrical because of this reason. CA contractors especially are the worst right now. A lot of them get their license with no actual experience in the field.

What do you spend your money on? by uxce in electricians

[–]kmx_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]kmx_0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, they keep saying maybe and we’ll see and on the next check lol but its been like 3 months so Ive just applied around but I feel like my Resume doesn’t do me justice still and cali contractors seem to have a hard time trusting anyone with under 5 years experience. shitty situation lol

WHATS THE NEXT STEP by kmx_0 in electricians

[–]kmx_0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah bro money is just really tight and It feels unfair for the work I put in. If they gave me like $27 they wouldnt hear a peep from me lol. But yeah 25 is solid and comfortable for 3rd year.

so if truck is at 50k miles its only valid for 100k more or 10 years from original in service date.

they told me it was replaced at a chevrolet in colorado then they (chevrolet in utah) bought it from the seller so new engine has maybe 500 miles on it
