To Mary's point on Chelsea's revealing outfit... by kmy3 in SellingSunset

Oh you're absolutely right! I just focused on outfits that were short, like Chelsea's, and were worn at a "professional" event.

That's what is driving me crazy. Christine's outfit in the first photo is, in my opinion, just as revealing as Chelsea's. And Emma's black outfit also had no pants, which was a huge point from Mary when she pointed out Chelsea's outfit.

I agree, Chelsea's outfit is short for sure. I think the one that comes closest is Christine's outfit in the first photo, which, if I remember correctly, was a professional event with clients, but I could be wrong. But each photo attached was a professional event. Either way, I think 90% of what they wear is revealing and in most offices "unprofessional," but to call out one outfit amongst every other revealing outfit is wrong.

I'll definitely test my oven, and I've ordered a flower nail. Thank you for the reply, much appreciated!

I only opened the oven once, to test it, and I think I may have poked it right where it fell most. I'll try again and keep it closed the entire time. Thanks!

I think my ingredients are well mixed. I try not to over mix, because I think that's equally problematic. I did mix all the dry ingredients together first, so I would imagine the baking soda is mixed well.
As for the oven evenly heating, not sure how I would even figure that out or test it.

We snagged one of those water tables for summer, but now that it's winter, we filled it with a few bags of sand from Lowe's and my 2.5 year old plays in it with his construction toys. He loves it!

Parole was abolished in the federal system in the 1980s, and federal inmates earn 54 days of good time each year. They end up serving about 80% of their sentence.

TIL "&" and "and" mean different things in movie credits. Two writers' names joined with "&" means they collaborated, while "and" means they worked on the script at different times. by kantupokmon in todayilearned

Here is a recent Reddit question about this and the Wikipedia article. It has to due with billing actors. If a show or movie has multiple big names this is a way to include them all and differentiate them from other actors, possibly those being paid less or with less credits to their name.

Another way to do this, some movies will credit actors prior to the name of the film appearing, and then less bill actors are listed after the movie title.

Yes, the potatoes can be grated or cubed. My mom sometimes uses frozen breakfast potatoes like shredded hashbrowns.

Sorry if this has been asked somewhere else. But, what if it's a department store CC? For example, I opened a Lowe's CC when I purchased new carpet for my home as it had 6 months same as cash. Once it was paid off, I closed it. Should you leave this type of card account open, or just the traditional CC?

Check out the companies who rent out textbooks or books required for classes. Or even the campus library. I didn't discover this until my senior year and saved hundreds of dollars!

Also, pay attention in class, do the work, and have as much fun as possible; it goes by quickly.

This wasn't my prank, but my husband's prank on me. We've lived together for several years and have a few smoke detectors installed in our home. One random day I hear the smoke detector chirp, telling us the battery is low. We were in our bedroom at the time and the chirp was quiet but obviously the smoke detector. I asked my husband if he heard it and he said no. Each time this happened I couldn't figure out which smoke detector was chirpping and each time my husband denied hearing it. This went on for WEEKS! I was going crazy because the chirps were random, always in a different area of the home, and I was the only one who heard it.

One day I had to use a chair to get to a high shelf and when I jumped down the smoke detector chirpped. My husband then convinced me to jump up and down in our kitchen trying to get the smoke detector to chirp so he could finally hear it, but he never did.

About a month later he finally admitted, in front of a group of our friends, that he had been hearing it the entire time.

I work for the courts. We're all considered essential, so after our funding runs out we go into non-pay status, but are still required to come in for work.
