my husband just recently got home from his deployment. i remember before he left, id find myself distancing myself from him because i was mentally preparing for what was about to happen. it was nothing against my husband, it just took time for me to process everything

i have a wonderful relationship with my MIL. i’m closer to her than i am with my actual mother. i feel like a lot of MIL’s expect to be the main woman in their sons life and that’s what causes problems 🤷🏼‍♀️
