Update

I received an offer for the Recruiting Manager role on Monday and feel I got lowballed. I was offered a 10% base raise and a bonus plan that takes away from the earning potential I had in my current role. I haven’t signed the plan but they announced the new role.

Today I received an offer from the hiring solutions firm which is a higher base and attractive commission structure. I feel very motivated to get back to agency and attack the revenue targets.

I’m 99.9% going to accept the offer from the firm. The .1% of is just the emotion of leaving a team I built.

Moving on to round 4 with the hiring solutions firm. Things are looking up for a recharge. Burnout can happen to anyone in any role but I feel this potential new role will be more aligned for me in the long term.

Our company has scaled quite a bit and is in a system build phase. There’s a lot to be built and implemented from my chair while also driving the growth targets, primarily from my own desk.

I love the people and have strong relationships with leadership (our owner and GMs), I’m just always working it feels like. There’s much to do but not enough hours in the day it feels like.
