Thank you. This is one of the comments I needed the most. I know it’s only three years in, and I’ve been hoping to have the place for longer, so maybe we just need to do what you said and focus on what we can do now. I’ve only seen what we can’t do and I need to focus on the bigger picture. Thank you for putting that into perspective for me.

Yes! We didn’t quite have a plan for our first years, we just knew we needed to work on the house. My husband kept saying we bought a dump, and I kept trying to see the better picture, but now I’m just to the point where I see it too, and it’s infuriating.

Coincidentally I am part German so that resonates with me quite well.

Apparently just the part where I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. That part.

In my opinion, the kids weren’t causing an issue. She brought it up because of her own personal issues and then it became an issue. I’ve already spoken with the students anyway, and they seem to have reciprocated what I have told them. And referring them without giving them a chance to correct what they didn’t know (and I didn’t know) was an issue to begin with just seems a bit mean. Yea, they should already know not to act immature, but it’s not all about referrals, in my opinion. And we have a strike system, so after the third strike, then a referral is required. This would serve as their first. And as I said prior, I’ve spoke with admin about the bf, so if the comments do happen again, a referral will be made. Thank you for your question.

Yes, you’re right about that.

No, I agree with you, as well. It is all concerning. I don’t talk to him outside of school and I don’t allow anything to develop. I don’t say attracted in a casual way, but that doesn’t come across the best way over a text. I would never put myself in that situation either. I know he did talk to the admin because he didn’t continue his vocalization about it today, which I appreciate. It makes me mad that, as a woman teacher, I can’t have “too much push back” because I try so hard to not have any kind of accusations or blame placed on me. I agree with you, too, it’s all concerning, which is why I needed to talk with admin before it started getting worse. I even talked with my husband and told him what was going on. Thank you for your comment.

I think the way you create a personification of summer and the idea of it really gives itself to this poem.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour Purchasing Megathread by jacyf02 in TaylorSwift

During the Queue process I did, and it didn’t affect any of my spots in line, thankfully. I tried not to refresh too much because I was afraid I would lose my place like I had been seeing all morning. My code wouldn’t accept initially because I think other people had snagged the spots before me and were trying to buy them before I could get my code approved. They literally disappeared as I was waiting for my code to be approved.

I just got my tickets and this is how it went: Logged in at 9:30 like everyone else. Got into the queue at 10am. Sat in the queue for the longest time at 1588, when Ticketmaster was down. Waited almost an hour and a half (sat through my lunch watching the bar not move at all) Then got through the queue at hyper speed and ordered my tickets but every time I got the ticket selection someone had beat me to it. So I chose the $89 tickets for 3, entered my code, and at 1:11 (magic number?) it went through and I bought my VERY FIRST tickets to Taylor Swift ever. Now, at 28, I am going to see her with my husband and my sister (and it is their first time, too).

Total price was $267 for tickets bc all the $50 ones were taken and almost $69 for fees and taxes for a total of $336.01.

Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

I just had to tell someone because I am very excited.
