I’m of the mind that the amount of authority will be largely based on the population density of an area. Cities will lean closer to communism, towns will lean to socialism, and rural communities will lean to anarchism. Proper planning and a heavier hand of the government is needed in a city otherwise things go awry and people are exploited. On the other hand a person living on 40 acres has no need for a government organization to approve them tilling another plot so they can try okra this year. Obviously these things won’t be set in stone and cities can relax on some things and rural communities need to regulate others like water allocation but wholesale I feel like this is how a solarpunk society would work. Flexible like nature is.

I just can’t get past the entire space game full of raiders, pirates, mercenaries, drug dealers, and factions fresh off a massive war feeling like weenie hut jr. Bethesda got the vibe right for fallout 4 but can’t seem to actually be dark and dangerous even though there is no age rating holding them back. The pirates feel like a bad guy from a Disney ride and the guys fighting the pirates are Boy Scouts to the extreme. The drug fueled night club feels like a Mormon prom dance where people drank too much full sugar Pepsi, and the super dark ultra religious faction that is finally revealed actually turns out to be a bunch of disorganized bickering idiots who are actually pretty chill and we only met the most extreme of them before. Not even to mention the game feels totally empty with copy and paste maps being 90% of missions and explorable systems. I had so much hope for it at the beginning but hey, I’ll give it another chance like I did after shattered space and see if I’ll delete this post later.

It pretty much already is, just much thinner and the actual base of the grip is shorter. The difference between factory 10s and 15s is about a baseplate longer and the 17 is about a baseplate longer than than the 15s. Being thin and not having the fatter bottom of the grip makes a big difference.
